Hi, I’m Martin!

I’m a Bristol-based wedding photographer with a love of travel, the outdoors and discovering new places. It’s one of the reasons I love photographing weddings at different venues and travelling for destination weddings.

My passion for street and travel photography is what first got me into wedding photography. Fast-forward 16 years and 450+ wedding cakes later, and I still love every minute of it.

The best part of my job is being trusted to capture such an important day. I love photographing couples and their guests having a genuinely brilliant time, from the little emotional moments to the slightly chaotic dance floor antics.

My approach is relaxed, natural and unobtrusive. Most of the time, you probably won’t even notice I’m there (think shadow ninja with a camera!). I’ll whisk you away for a couple of short, relaxed portrait sessions throughout the day, timed around the best light. The rest of the time, I want you to enjoy your wedding with your favourite people, rather than spend the day posing for photos.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings across all sorts of faiths, cultures and traditions, and I have a particular soft spot for fusion weddings. I also speak English, Spanish and Polish, plus a slightly questionable but surprisingly effective mix of Portuguese and Spanish known as Portuñol! 😉
